WEEK END AWARDS
2023 Weekend Awards -
Open, Advanced, Intermediate and Limited – Jackpot Classes and Overall High Point / Reserve High Point with added money and add back from each entry.
Novice, Walk Trot and Youth – Class Ribbons and High Point and Reserve High Point Awards.
2023 Circuit Awards
Winter Ranch Horse Spectacular, Spring Works and Fall Works will be circuits. In addition to awards at each event we will have Circuit Awards in each Division for High Point and Reserve High Point.
AQHA Awards – Jackpots at each event in Open, AM and Limited AM. Awards in Youth
Additional Awards and Recognition - We reserve the right to make changes to our weekend awards as needed and to add awards as we see the opportunity to recognize outstanding participation and achievement or choose to do a special give a way without prior notice.
YEAR END AWARDS
AzVRHA Year End Awards – you must participate in 1 more than half of the events published by the first event. For example, if we have 5 confirmed events on the calendar by the date of the first event, you will need to participate in 3 events to be eligible for year-end awards.
Volunteer Credit - In addition, if you are not able to participate on horseback for some reason, we will give you a credit toward your year-end award participation requirements if you volunteer for a full competition day. It will count as one of your required participation days but does not add points to your total.

2023 AzVRHA Year End Awards consist of:
- All Around High Point Versatility Ranch Horse - High Point, Reserve High Point and Third High Point in All Divisions
- 1st place award in each class in each Division. For example; High Point Novice Cutter.
- High Point Open Rider – Riders total points on all horses earned in the open division. Each entry is considered a show. For example, if an Open rider comes to 1 event and shows 2 horses and comes to another event and shows 2 horses he has fulfilled his requirement for minimum number of events, if the minimum number of events to be eligible for year-end awards is four.
- High Point Jr Horse – All points this horse earns in any division with any rider (Horse is age 5 or under). $10.00 one time annual fee, must indicate “Jr Horse” on each entry form (Rider is responsible for designating the JR Horse entry.)
- High Point Select Rider – Rider over 60 years of age with the most points at the end of the year on one horse. $10.00 one time annual fee, must indicate “select rider” on each entry form. (Rider is responsible for designation of the Select Rider entry.)
- Additional Awards and Recognition - We reserve the right to add awards throughout the year as we see the opportunity to recognize outstanding participation and achievement or choose to do a special give away without prior notice.
